Where are sessions conducted?
We come to you! PNW Speech and Language offers services in your home. We currently provide speech therapy to families living in Gig Harbor and Tacoma. Virtual services conducted via tele-practice.
Where do I start?
If you have questions, feel free to call for a 15 minute phone consultation where we can discuss your concerns. If an evaluation is recommended we will need a referral from your child’s pediatrician prior to scheduling. A comprehensive speech and language and/or feeding evaluation will then be conducted to determine if services are warranted and the recommended frequency.
Do you accept insurance?
We currently accept the following insurances:
Premera of Washington
First Choice Health
Regence BCBS
Cigna
If we don’t take your insurance, we are happy to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible retroactive reimbursement. We also offer private pay options and accept cash, credit/debit, check and HSA.
Do I need a referral from my child’s pediatrician for services?
We do require a referral from your child’s pediatrician prior to starting services (evaluation, treatment, etc.). Your pediatrician can fax referrals to PNW Speech and Language at (253) 235-0426.
